Up until now he has kept it very quiet when it came to the controversy regarding his financial dealings. But, Take That singer Gary Barlow has finally broken his silence regarding his tax related issues with an apology. Gary was accused of ‘cynicism’ when he addressed the tax issue in a series of Twitter messages.
Gary stated that he was very sorry to anyone who was offended by all the tales of his tax issues. But some of his fans was really surprised by the whole tax stories. They believe that he must express regret for failing to pay tax. And along with the cursory apology, he declared that the group have been working on a brand new record.
This year, it was stated that the forty three and his bandmates Howard Donald and Mark Owen as well as their manager Jonathan Wild confront a multimillion pound tax bill for trying to hide £66 million in a tax-avoidance event called Icebreaker. Just a few days following the revelation, Gary’s Twitter account was hacked and someone posted offensive post regarding his stillborn baby forcing him to stay away from Twitter for few weeks.
He came back to Twitter since 7th May and posted: ‘Hey everyone! I’m back from seven productive weeks in the US and I’m back on Twitter! I’ve had a break from Twitter after someone hacked my account and some very upsetting and disturbing text was written.’
In another tweet, he said: ‘I want to apologise to anyone who was offended by the tax stories earlier this year. With a new team of accountants we are working to settle things with all parties involved ASAP.’
Well, they have not performed for a very long time, but the FIVE Jazz Quintet have established themselves quickly as the top jazz fivesome of Central Kentucky. All the five members has been making music since they were kid and they play different kinds of instruments, from bass to flute to tuba to guitar.
The band’s bassist Pete McCaffrey, took up bass guitar just twelve years ago after playing horns for most of his life. He stated that he was very much interested in playing bass. Later he took it up at a church as a part of the music ministry. Well he is not just alone – 4 out of 5 music artists perform in the praise bands at churches that includes Eben Henson. He has been playing drums for around fifty years. He joked it was a coin flip with his brother. He got the guitar.
Harrodsburg native Sam Carr began playing saxophone in the 4th grade and he studied music for almost a year at University of Kentucky. However, later he switched to engineering. He told that is teacher selected the sax for him after seeing that he could not ‘buzz’ his lips to make sounds with a trumpet. He added that band was always one of his favorite subjects, and when he was in school, he was selected to various honor bands including 1972 All-USA School Band.
David Coverdale, the Whitesnake leader, is sharing video of his brand new studio Hook City located in Reno in Nevada. The star refers to the program as a labor of love as well as a work of art. The band was in the headlines previous month when Coverdale updated his rooters on the status of the search for a brand new guitarist, after the departure of their longtime guitar player Doug Aldrich in May.
On the band’s website, David Coverdale told: “I see there’s all kinds of interesting posts and some ‘demands’ about whom I should work with,”
“As always, I sincerely thank you all for your generosity, but, with all due respect, I’ll be making the decision who the band and I are going to work with.”
He went on to say that this is a very simple process. He guaranteed that it would be a very gifted guitarist who plays great and sings great, works well in a team, someone who appreciates the band’s music and a player whom they feel would help them take Whitesnake to the next level in as many ways as possible. Without unnecessary distractions, they expect that you could appreciate this fact.
They have a great lay out highly talented music artists who have applied for the concert. David Coverdale further added that they are in such awe which so many gifted people want to play Whitesnake music with them.
The band is very close in making their decision and they would allow all know when the timing is perfect and hopefully people would offer him the same scope. They are looking for the same support they people have given to all their musicians.
