Liverpool International Music Festival unveils its line-up for this year

Liverpool International Music Festival is all set to return in August with some of the top names in music industry. Over two hundred acts representing twenty countries would entertain people with around hundred and fifty hours of live music through the event that runs from 15th August, Friday till 31st August, Saturday.
Across the 16 days, there would be acts from Shaggy, Tim Burgess, Goldie, Boy George, The Hoosiers as well as 2014 GIT Award winner Forest Swords. Among the other artists set to dazzle the stage are Lemar, The Farm, Kid Creole, John Power as well as multi Grammy nominee Marsha Ambrosius.
August bank holiday weekend would see Sefton Park play host to the Liverpool International Music Festival Summer Jam. The event would start with The Lightning Seeds and Ian Broudie joining Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert arranged by the Classic FM that takes place on 22nd August, Friday.
According to reports, music artist Ian Broudie told that he is more than happy to be playing at Liverpool International Music Festival this year. The combination of the band and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in Sefton Park on a sunny August evening should make for a magical event.
Joe Anderson, Mayor of Liverpool, told that they are overwhelmed by the response to the very first Liverpool International Music Festival in 2013, and today, people still tell him that the Sefton Park acts were the highlight of their summer. There is no doubt that the park would get some more focus this year.
