Lily Allen first solo gig
British singer Lily Allen made her big musical return on Tuesday, which is around 4 four years after she infamously quit music. The new mom in the block came back to the stage for Etam fashion show at the Paris Fashion Week. It clearly appeared that she has altered her mind about her career in music.
It was her very first solo appearance on the stage since giving birth to her daughters, fifteen month old Ethel Mary in November 2011 and Marnie, whom she gave birth previous month. Lily Allen sported a loose fitting print attire for the show that also saw a performance from singer Rita Ora, who was less conservative with her fashion choices, selecting a see through lace attire as well as strappy boots.
Even after all these years, Lily has not forgotten the words of her top hits. Before the show, she tweeted: “Just did rehearsal for tomorrow’s ETAM Show with @iamMarkRonson, still know the words to Smile, which is good. #mumback.”
Lily made a short appearance in a Professor Green show last year in June and after that she pleased her fans when she stated that she was coming out of retirement and heading for the studio.
Lily Allen tweeted at the time: “You will be pleased to know that i am currently in the f**king studio with @GregKurstin.
In another tweet, she told: “No big deal really, i’m just throwing s**t at the wall and seeing if anything sticks.(sic)” she added.
